About the Author

I grew up in a small place in the country called Nelson County Virginia known for its ski resort, wineries, hiking trails, breathtaking mountain top scenery and home of another writer, Earl Hamner who wrote the Waltons, you may be familiar with that TV show. I joined the Air Force where I found purpose, travel globally while I proudly served my country, then was medically retired after seven years and with my wife, who was also in the Air Force, my daughter and myself settled into San Antonio, Texas, the place where we now call home.
